An essential upgrade. Simply replace the old pack with the new pack after removing the foam inserts. In the TX menu, change the battery type setting to LiPo. To charge, simply connect a Spektrum (SPM9551) 240V AC to 12V DC adaptor (usually supplied with the DX7s and DX8) to the transmitter charge jack.

CAUTION:
Never connect a peak detection charger or fast charger to this Lithium-Ion pack  These devices can damage the internal charge circuit.
