At the 2012 Paris International Auto Salon Bentley announced they were planning a return to the race track with the unveiling of the Continental GT3 race concept car. The stripped-back Continental GT3 represented the latest, most fearsome incarnation of Bentley’s racing tradition. The Continental GT3 takes the essence of the Continental GT and pushes it to its limit. The body is almost identical, but with doors, boot lid and bonnet re-made in carbon fibre, over 1,000kg of weight has been lost.
