The Botter of the island of Marken is a typical Dutch ship that sailed for several centuries in the former Zuiderzee, now called IJsselmeer.

The kit includes laser cut frames for keel & bulkheads, and exotic wood strip for hull planking. Also included is the wooden deck planking, masts and spars, metal and wooden fittings, and cloth for the sails. The instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction.
