DODGE CHARGER C3535
Description
Here's a classic muscle car complete with period-correct "turbine" alloy wheels and road car interior and driver. There's a roll bar, too, so your hot ride is ready for the drag strip.
Scalextric's Dodge Charger has a sidewinder chassis with an FC130 endbell-drive motor and 11:36 gearing. There are two alternative positions for the 25x8mm neodymium bar magnet.
This car accepts the same aftermarket rear tires as the Scalextric TA cars and L88 Corvettes.
It uses the same wheel and tire width and diameter at both the front and rear, so if you prefer different wheels Pioneer American Racing 5-spoke wheel and tire sets or axle assemblies would be a direct substitute for the wheels on this car.
Also, the wheel style used on Scalextric's Charger, known as "Turbine" wheels, were used on some race cars. You could use a set of them on a TA car or L88 but you would have to turn the front tires down to the right diameter for these cars.
1/32 scale analog slot car, ready to run on all 1/32 scale non-digital slot car tracks.
This car is digital plug-ready (DPR) using the C8515 plug-in digital chip.
Scalextric's standard FC130 motor is rated by the factory at 18,000 RPM but it typically delivers around 21,00 RPM on race set power.
